During the class of business the learning objectives were to work in a team of 2-3 in order to come up with a business idea. Learning these skills are valuable for my future because it teaches me how to work as a team and it expands my entrepreneur mindset. Knowing how to create a business from solving a problem would open my eyes to new ideas on how we can help the community. We choose to do gender equality.
We were offered a series of challenges for us to develop a business idea. My partner and I decided to choose gender equality because it hit home. We had gone through sex segregation with one of our family members and we decided to developed an innovation that could help them. Our business idea was to create an app where women can go and look for jobs in order for them to make some extra money. As well they would start appreciating their skills that they have developed for being a housewife or just working on stuff that women are fit to.
The two SLO that I demonstrated was applying technological skills for the 21st century by doing research on my challenge and using apps to make our commercial as well converting music in order to add it to our commercial. This is important because the more I learn how to use my sources then the easier my future project would be. I also demonstrated thinking critically and creatively by knowing how to download our commercial even though it didn’t allowed us at first.
I was proud of this project because I feel like we did our best and even though things started to get complicated we didn’t give up. As well is one of the few projects that showed how we worked together and were able to come up with a great idea.
